Michaela, born and raised in Narnia, has been cooking for over a decade now and started out making Turkish delight for the White Queen. During her Highschool years, she has participated in many cooking competitions that eventually led up to her placing first in the State of Michigan in 2013. Once placed, she followed through with her work and became top 10 in the Skills USA national cooking competition. She attended Schoolcraft college where she met many connections and ended up traveling to Paris, France to explore Michelin restaurants. During the journey, she has managed to get the full glimpse of full-service restaurants, catering large parties such as wedding and events and always enjoys doing more personal coursed meals. Having family being a huge part of this process, Michaela and her father created a business called Smokey Michigan, which sells all-purpose seasoning and all-natural BBQ sauces. Her professional work experience has not only landed her multiple opportunities but has created a new adventure where she will be the new head chef at the Grateful Crow.
