Join us on Tuesday, July 28, as The Grateful Crow proudly supports Mikey & Me, a local nonprofit dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs and helping families keep the pets they already love.

Here is their story
The story of Mikey & Me began with a promise.
In 2009, founder Dan lost his beloved dog, Mikey, at the age of 17. On that day, he promised Mikey that he would spend his life helping other dogs in need, inspired by the joy, companionship, and perspective that Mikey had brought into his life.
To fulfill that promise, Dan joined a rescue organization in 2015. However, he quickly realized that many dogs were being turned away simply because there weren't enough foster homes available. Knowing he could do more, he decided to create a place where dogs could be safe while waiting for their forever families.
On his 100-year-old farm just south of Dexter, Dan transformed an old dairy barn into a foster care facility complete with comfortable, spacious kennels. There, he and an incredible team of volunteers provide abused, neglected, and homeless dogs with food, water, long walks, socialization, and, most importantly, love and compassion for as long as it takes to find them a permanent home.
To date, Mikey & Me has rescued 265 dogs, giving each one a second chance at a happy life.
In 2024, Mikey & Me officially became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, opening even more opportunities to serve both dogs and their families throughout the community. The organization now offers programs like the Family Assistance Plan and the Mikey & Me Loan Closet, helping families facing difficult circumstances keep their beloved pets at home.
On Tuesday, July 28, The Grateful Crow will donate 10% of all sales to support the mission of Mikey & Me.
Every meal purchased helps provide care, comfort, and hope to dogs in need and supports families working to keep their furry companions by their side.
