About the event
Step into a night where passion meets intensity.
On August 28th at 7 PM, join us for an evening of tantalizing drinks, exquisite dinner, and the high-energy, emotional rock and roll sound of TJ Zindle. As the night unfolds, let TJ’s electrifying performance stir your emotions and ignite your spirit. Embrace the thrill of a night brimming with dynamic music and unforgettable moments as TJ Zindle ignites a fearless spark of mighty alt-rock. A sonic explosion of spirited vocals, fiery electric guitars, and charged lyrics instantly propels listeners into the Ann Arbor, Michigan singer-songwriter’s emotive realm.
Within it, Zindle shares high-voltage tales of life, growth, and change across an electrifying catalog of releases. This undeniable musical force translates the world around him and ingests the passionate alt-rock flavors of Radiohead, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Our Lady Peace.
By 1997, Zindle formed the scrappy alt-rock quartet Last Conservative. They released four albums and joined Goo Goo Dolls vocalist-bassist Robby Takac’s label, Good Charamel Records, from 2003-2007. The critically acclaimed band also won XM Satellite Radio’s “Best Unsigned Band” award. During their run, Last Conservative opened for Bon Jovi at HSBC Arena in Buffalo, New York and later toured with Counting Crows, Goo Goo Dolls, Augustana, The All-American Rejects, Gin Blossoms, and Sugar Ray.
Zindle credits the band and Takac with expanding his “high energy, emotional rock and roll” sound, which soon found its way to Michigan. In 2009, he joined Erin Zindle & The Ragbirds as a guitarist.
By 2017, Zindle released his thoughtful full-length debut album, Hold On with All Your Might, which fuses soaring melodies with heartfelt emotion. He translated those introspective songs from the studio to the stage with Powerlines bandmates Jon Brown (drums) and Shannon Wade (bass).
A kinetic live performer, Zindle shares his sweaty, rambunctious energy with audiences and takes them on a jaw-dropping journey. Powerful vocals, blaring electric guitars, and a driving rhythm section allow crowds to feel a range of emotions, especially on his new, self-produced 2022 album, Now Let Go.
